BROWN SUGAR LODGES/BACKPACKERS is one of the
most popular lodges in Johannesburg that went through extensive
renovations and improvements since December 2005 when the new
owners took over.
Guests that revisit this “Mansion” or “Castle”
are amazed by the improvements and quality of accommodation

RSA is getting ready for the SOCCER WORLD CUP 2010 that will be hosted by our wonderful country next year from
11 June 2010 to 11 July 2010 and BROWN SUGAR is not far behind
with their preparations and bookings are rolling in because:
• We are only 10 minutes (by car) from the ELLIS PARK
STADIUM where 7 matches will be played and one of the quarter
final matches will be played. We are about 4 minutes (by foot)
from the Park and Ride area where ticket holders will enjoy
a FREE ride to the stadium!
• We are only 20-25 minutes (by car) from SOCCER CITY
STADIUM where 8 matches will be played including the opening
and closing matches as well as the other quarter final match
will be played. We are not sure about free transport at this
stage but be assured that Government will accommodate all
ticket holders or make an arrangement for free shuttles as
they did with the very successful Confederations Cup that
was hosted by RSA in June 2009.
